The new Panamera range.

26/8/2020

In the decade since its launch, the Porsche Panamera has established itself as the definitive four door sports car. Cleverly balancing a unique symbiosis of contrasts, the new Panamera announced today covers an even wider spectrum, yet remains true to the original design brief to combine the performance of an authentic Porsche sports car with the comfort of an exclusive saloon.

In addition to the sports saloon body style, the new Panamera models can also be ordered as Sport Turismo (or Executive, featuring a longer wheelbase, by special order only), depending on the drive system.

The previously optional Sport Design nose styling – characterised by its distinctive air intake grilles, large side cooling openings and a single-bar front light module – is now standard on all models. The new styling of the light strip across the tail of the Panamera now runs seamlessly over the luggage compartment lid, and is intended to provide a continuous and flowing connection between the two newly-designed LED light clusters.

The Panamera Turbo S gains a completely new nose that is differentiated by the larger side air intakes and newly-designed elements in the body colour, which are connected horizontally to further emphasise the car’s potent stance. The light modules of the Turbo S dual front lights are now also set much further apart.

The Panamera GTS models sport the new darkened Exclusive Design tail light clusters as standard with dynamic coming/leaving home function. Three new 20- and 21-inch wheels have been added to the wheel range, so that a total of 10 different designs are now available.

The Porsche Communication Management (PCM) includes additional digital functions and services such as the improved Voice Pilot online voice control, Risk Radar for up-to-date road sign and hazard information, wireless Apple® CarPlay and many other Connect services. The Panamera also offers an extensive range of innovative light and assistance systems, such as the Lane Keeping Assist with road sign recognition that is now standard, plus options of Porsche InnoDrive including adaptive cruise control, Night Vision Assist, Lane Change Assist, LED matrix headlights including PDLS Plus, Park Assist including Surround View and head-up display.

The new Porsche Panamera redefines the sporting saloon.
